The Calculator


This is the main screen of the app. Provided is a life like scientific calculator interface. You have all the functions that included in a scientific calculator. Some of the more notable functions that you may not find in a regular scientific calculator is the matrix brackets. You can create an NxN matrix by just nesting 1XN matrices within a larger matrix. Anther awesome feature is the complex symbol "i". With this symbol, you can perform complex calculations just like you could in the TI-89 calculator.

    The Windows 8.1 Calculator supports all views that the Windows 8.1 platforms allow. You can shrink the window to as small as 500 pixels in width. 

    Use the 3 dots on the left and right side of the calculator pad to switch between each calculator pad.

   The "H" button is used to show the history of equations that you have inputted as well as the answers.

Settings

Here you can adjust the Volume for the calculator butons. Floating Digits is used to determine the accuracy of decimal numbers. The answer format will let you set the style in which you display your answers, such as scientific notation or engineering notation.

 

Help

This menu is to answer some Frequently Asked Questions that you may have.
 

History

This menu allows you to trace back to your recent history (upto 30 entries). You can use the toggle switch at the top to choose to copy the answer or the equation.
